Lamb, Morroccan Eggplant, Dill Rice

Friday, March 24, 2006
A very consistent menu overall. The meat (lamb, chicken and steak) is decent, although not the best I've had and not very ample. Every entree comes with a lot of rice, which seems to be a trend with Middle Eastern-type restaurants. The menu also contains a good selection of vegetarian options, and the dolmeh with cucumber sauce is quite tasty. The restaurant interior is nothing special, with standard-restaurant issue tables and chairs, and vinyl table clothes (I was there during the day, so perhaps they use cloth in the evenings). The decor is a little worn, and a little depressing; I typically order delivery from Andies. Also available for delivery: beer and wine. While I prefer Reza's, Andies is good for takeout (hefty lunch specials offered) and delivery.
