Benihana

Cramped seating, poor ventilation and questionable cleanliness defines my experience with Benihana. A recent trip had us waiting over 30 minutes, even though we had a reservation. The food was bland and our chef an automaton; it was like watching a bear at the circus perform tricks. My clothes and hair reek of that fry/grill smell when I leave this place. Best part: the 2 glasses of riesling I drank. With personal experience int he restaurant industry as well as food preparation and safety requirements, I wonder how Benihana is able to pass its inspections.
