Paying for the View

Wednesday, March 08, 2006
Granted, the view is great. But the service is unfriendly, the food nothing to brag about and the drinks are uber-expensive. The martinis are served in smaller-than-usual glasses and cost at least $10. The service I've experienced has been slow and not very cordial. Understandable when you see how many tourists come through the doors. Unless your treating out-of-towners to the Chicago scene, you should only have to try it once to realize there is better almost anywhere else. Unfortunately, I have not been so lucky. Noteworthy: the bathrooms were very clean.
