This is a perfectly pleasant budget hotel in a very convenient location. Unlike many budget hotels it even has a doorman to help you with bags and cabs. Unfortunately it's on a horrible stretch of Broadway filled with wholesale (and counterfit goods) shops. It's not dangerous, it's just ugly and crowded and full of rude people who don't understand that you walk on the right and don't stop in the middle of the street. That said, if you're comfortable enough in urban environments not to be freaked out by this, the place is three blocks from the flatiron building and near tons of cool stuff.
