We've been here twice -- once dine-in, once carry-out. Yes, it's in a former Taco Bell - but the small dining room is quite charming, and the food is excellent. I would have given it five stars, but my husband thinks that the portions are a little small. I think he's spoiled by other (too-big portions!) restaurants -- I had plenty of food, and it was delicious. We'll definitely continue eating here.

We took advantage of a 6-weeks-for-$10 special Mieko's had going on in April and May. It just expired, and we haven't decided whether to sign up for a full membership.
Here are the pros (in my opinion):
-tons of weight equipment (both free & machines)
-tons of cardio equipment (more treadmills than anything else, but still plenty of ellipticals, bikes, & stair-steppers)
-a decent amount of classes available
-cheap monthly prices after you pay the joining fee.
Cons:
-the joining fees are almost prohibitively high for our family. When we talked with the membership guy, each person had to pay a $49 "processing fee," and then most levels of membership had an additional "joining fee" along with your monthly fees.
-the advertised $18/month package stipulates that you cannot go to the gym between 3-9pm on weekdays.
-we went to check it out and ask about prices and ended up being there for over an hour. We didn't feel TOO much pressure from the sales guy, but we still had to answer a lot of annoying questions like: "how much weight do you want to lose?" etc.
-they do not have towels, either for cleaning the machines or for use in the locker rooms. You have to clean the machines with paper towels & spray provided at various points in the room.

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. We can get dinner for around $15 (total!), and they have free delivery in our neighborhood. We have dined in, carried out, and gotten delivery--and were happy with all three. The staff is really friendly, it's a casual little restaurant, and the food is delicious! My husband especially loves the pad thai. I think their red curry is great, too. I highly recommend Chang Thai.

I tore a hole in the sidewall of a tire. When I took it in, I appreciated that they didn't try to pressure me into replacing more tires or in upgrading my tires. The service guy I worked with looked at all my tires and suggested that I just get one replaced and that he had a comparable replacement for $53 + installation. I was THRILLED to get in and out of there in 30 minutes and to have paid only $78 for a new tire.

Choi's Mongolian Grill on Holman is a friendly, small restaurant with decent food and service. If you know mongolian grills, you know the drill: fill up your bowl with raw meat, noodles, and veggies, and they cook it up with your choice of sauce.
This grill perhaps was not as spicy-flavorful as some others I've been to, but I wasn't at all disappointed with the food. And though we had to wait a few minutes for our food during a weeknight dinner rush, the two men working there were friendly and provided good service. They called each table up to the counter to pick up food as it was ready.
Oh, and the best part: good prices! We had all-you-can-eat dinner for two + 2 sodas for around $20. We will definitely go back to this neighborhood restaurant!

Our two dogs stayed at the PetsHotel in the Woodinville Petsmart. The staff seemed friendly and more open with us than other reviewers have noted. The hotel offers lots of options for "extras" while your pet boards there: extra playtimes, doggie daycamps, and treats. Our dogs got a few extra playtimes there during their long weekend stay.
Overall, I would rate PetsHotel as a middle-of-the-line boarding facility. It has enough perks and opportunities for extra doggy-attention that I consider this a acceptable place for my pets, though I would rather they stayed at Bone-A-Fide (it was full for a holiday weekend!).

I wandered in to Romanza on Saturday afternoon, and it was lovely! I bought some adorable (and quite inexpensive, for a gift shop) tree ornaments, and had fun looking around at all of the merchandise. They seem to have everything from jewelry to home decor to pet supplies (really cute pet stuff!) and personal care products (soaps, lotions, etc.). Fun place!

My husband & I have both had good experiences with Windermere. They're friendly, and they've done a great job with our repair work. Additionally, we've called on multiple occasions for price quotes and they always call back quickly with a thorough quote. I can't really speak to their prices, because I haven't had a lot done anywhere else in town for comparison, but the one time that we've had a problem that was questionably their fault (not ours), they fixed it for free.

My dog and I both loved Bone-A-Fide. The ranch requires a Saturday visit before boarding any dog to make sure that the dogs are comfortable in free-running environment, and to show the owners around the ranch. After just a quick Saturday visit, when I brought my dog back to board they remembered him by name. The staff genuinely seems to care about each dog there, and the dogs have a lot of fun playing together and running around all day. The ranch has several different yard areas, including one for smaller dogs if they're uncomfortable out with the big dogs.
I appreciated that they're so open about letting owners see the entire facility and that they play with the dogs all day long. My dog came home exhuasted from a 3 day weekend, and I didn't worry about him at all while he was there.

I started working out at ProRobics (Laurelhurst) in January this year, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. They offer several types of group exercise classes (cycling, step, yoga, pilates, etc.), and the instructors I've had have been motivating and well-educated. The cardio area is somewhat small, but I have never been unable to get a machine. Parking is easy and readiliy available except between 5-7pm or so--there are a few restaurants nearby that also contribute to the parking in the evenings. My favorite thing about this gym is the diversity of membership--people of all ages and fitness levels go here, and I feel like it's a really accepting place.
They also have childcare available at certain hours.
