The decor is the best thing about Platanos

Platanos looks like an appealing choice for dinner with its South American jungle-themed decor and vibrant colors. But the food leaves something to be desired: the plantains are dry and the empanaditas and pupusas aren’t quite up to par. The Tres Leches dessert, however, is right on the mark. Generally overpriced for food that’s only mediocre.
