With a façade so unassuming, one wonders how everyone in the always-crowded Blue Plate found out about it. Serving upscale American comfort food, Blue Plate excels at its entrees, which are mostly meat-dominated dishes. (Order the rest of the stuff eventually; try the meatloaf first.) Blue Plate is narrow but larger than it looks, with several different levels and a lovely back patio complete with high-power heat lamps.
