Helmand is an upscale restaurant serving Afghani dishes. It’s reportedly owned by relatives of Hamid Karzai, the president of Afghanistan. The average diner will find the food different but not intimidating. Don’t miss the pumpkin and ground beef appetizer, which sounds odd but is a great combination. A great date restaurant!
