LIke most grocery stores of its kind, the quality isn't phenomenal. But that is to be expected and therefore we accept it. They have a decent selection of produce, snacks and emergency supplies. I'll only go there in a hurry because there aren't may other "grocery" options super close to Apple. Occasionally, I'll stop in for some bread and lunch meat and call it a sandwich. It's a little healthier and cheaper than McDonald's.

This is one of Chicago's finest museums. It smells like moth balls so you pretty much know everything is well preserved. As a child my favorite part about this place was to count all the steps on the way up to the door. There are a lot of them. The field museum traces the evolution of man, beast and earth. You will see a sample of hundreds of mammals, birds, rocks and earthenware. The mammals are stuffed and positioned in mock natural settings to give you an idea of their home environments. You can also tour samples of every continent. It's a very interesting place.!

This museum does an awesome job of merging new exhibits with old favorites. They have a massive amount of space and house everything from an educational children's play area to a pharmacy from the past. You can also almost always find innovative science exhibits to teach you something new on a Saturday afternoon The museum is beautifully arranged and staffed with a wonderful group of attendants to help guide you or offer explanations to your questions. I've often been pleasantly surprised with how much their guides know about the place. You'll definitely need to visit more than twice to get a really feel for what they have to offer.

The Carlysle serves decent Banquet food, and if you have to go there for a wedding, I wouldn't worry about having to eat beforehand. However, the ambiance is positively flairless. Or perhaps it's their over abundance of regular banquet hall decor, like fake flora and greenery that made me uneasy. It's clean and decent, but way too overpriced to choose for a unique or special event. There are plenty of more beautiful places in the same area.

These guys are a little off with stocking new releases.My budget only allows for the OLD OLD selection anyway, so that doesn't matter much to me.It is small for a Hollywood Video, but you can get almost any mainstream movie and some independent films as well.The staff is cool, and that is what really matters when you're shopping corporate, and expecting "same old same old."

This place smells like wet dog and the funny thing is, they don't sell dogs here. It's a pet store though and I'll accept the smell as long as they sell what I need. Um...they don't do that either. Petco is dirty and unorganized and their staff is less than helpful. I've actually gotten more advice from knowledgeable customer in the store. While, I will say that Petco does have a groovy array of cute doggie attire, most of their pet supplies are overpriced and hap-hazardly strewn about. I'm not impressed.

These people know my name when I walk in the door. They get my clothes clean and they don't charge a bundle to do it. I've had a hard time finding a dry cleaner who could get things done quickly...
These people know my name when I walk in the door. They get my clothes clean and they don't charge a bundle to do it. I've had a hard time finding a dry cleaner who could get things done quickly and properly. These ladies can have your clothes ready that same day as long as you get them in before noon. Otherwise you can do a next day pick up, which isn't bad. They've also hemmed and stitched a few dresses for sooooooooo cheap. KM is efficient, affordable and very friendly. I highly recommend them.

I bought tickets for a show 2 hours before it began and was told that I could not sit in their open seating area to wait for my movie. They would not allow me, pregnant at the time, to have a seat...
I bought tickets for a show 2 hours before it began and was told that I could not sit in their open seating area to wait for my movie. They would not allow me, pregnant at the time, to have a seat in an area with about 20 open seats. I found that to be extremely poor service. I even asked kindly a second time, admitting that I was so pregnant and tired and just wanted to see this crazy movie, and they were very rude.
