This local bank offers online banking and free checking. There are never lines and it is very convenient. It is small however, they are FDIC insured and offer bill pay which is the 'reel in' for new customers. If you have any questions you are free to email them. Try this bank, it is cheaper than most major banks and a lot friendlier.

Huge basement space of vintage. This has to be one of the biggest in the area. Last year they had the nerve to expand! You can find just about any time period and item here but, mostly 50s-80s. Men’s selection is what sets this place apart. If you want to go shopping with your boy, bring him here. The men’s selection can be better in my opinion. Coats, shoes, belts, bags, jeans, dickies, and many other odd wardrobe items to be found.

Located in the heart of Williamsburg is this little bistro. Little is an understatement really, there is plenty of room for a party or a reception. The service is friendly and it has a rustic setting. It puts me in the mind of the Rainforest Cafe with all of the plants and trees. Fun location to take the kids!

Have you rocked your Brooklyn shirt today? If not stop by, they have plenty. The water tower logo makes this brand/store easy to recognize. There are several locations throughout Brooklyn, and for a short time there was one in Queens. Prices are moderate to high and rightfully so. The quality is excellent and the visual displays make it a fun place to shop. Does your store have a pair of legs rotating on a turntable? I didn't think so!

A cute little clothing boutique with men’s and women's clothing. The owner and designer Lyuba creates a warm atmosphere with the decor. It makes you feel like you stepped into someone's closet. The prices are great and there is always something new coming in. Some vintage, some local designers, and some consignment make it the right mix. Perfect for the neighborhood!

Come check out the wild art installations in the front window. Once packed with clothes and goods, it now runs like an art space. Shows rotate throughout the year with opening parties that are always packed. Behind the art in the storefront windows is a small boutique with re-constructed clothes, handmade notes, and other oddities. This is not your average space; it is a bit punk and a bit disturbing at times.

Stop by for the cozy 2 table set up. Coming into this Thai Restaurant is nothing like what you find in Manhattan. It is small, dark, and sketchy. I have seen a few people eating there, the food is not horrible. Open until 11:30 pm could be a good reason why they managed to survive. Like most Thai places the prices are around $7 for a plate.

Even if you are not vegan, stop by for the kitschy retro collage tables! This spot is closed on Monday, so take note. This vegan fast food joint offers great veggies or ‘fake me out’ meat, which is awesome. They also have ice cream and desserts. If you are having a party they will cater. I love this place because they have vegan magazines and events lying around. There is also and ATM machine because vegans sometimes run out of cash.
