I moved here from Philly 4 years ago and was disgusted to see what passes for pizza out here. Alfy's? Come on people - I had better pizza at roller skating parties in grade school! Then I drove by the handmade signs made out of old boxes - yep, that's east coast pizza decor. Sure enough, the best pizza I've had in years. Not just for Washington- even better than most of my old hang outs. Eat your food there and get to know Tony and Rialta - the conversation's as good as the pizza- just don't ask for pineapple 'cause I'm pretty sure they'll throw you out!
