I usually go for a Motel 6 when I need somewhere cheap to stay but the ones in Santa Barbara have prices that are just too high. The last time I wanted to stay at Motel 6 there, they wanted only $20 less than a nice hotel right in the middle of State Street downtown. So I went to the place downtown instead. I know that prices are going up everywhere but you know it's really bad when even Motel 6 just isn't that cheap anymore.

I hate this store with a passion. It's not just this location but all Abercrombie locations. They don't have a lot of clothes to choose from. It seems like all they ever stock are polo shirts, and denim skirts. How original! You could just save your money and pick up the same ugly pink polo for your boyfriend at JC Pennys at half the cost. I love clothes and I love fashion. I think that this store has the worst clothes and aren't worth what you pay for them. And don't get me started on the weird guys and gals who work there, they're like cloned robots.

I love Pepe's. They have the best nachos and tacos. Their nachos are piled high with beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and all kinds of good stuff. The beef hard tacos are sooo good. They give you plenty of meat, unlike other places, and it has tomotoes, lettuce and cheese on top. They do put a lot of shredded cheese on everything so if you don't like a lot of cheese be sure to ask them to go light on it.

This is a cool restaurant. Their cheese bread is soo good. The cabbage salad is good too, but the charm of this place is the atmosphere. Right when you pull up the restaurant is different than all others. It's built like a big log cabbin with snow on the roof. Inside there is sawdust on the floors so you can eat peanuts at the bar or at your table and just throw the shell on the ground. The food is really good, but the prices are sort of high. I think that the money is well spent for good food and good service.

I've always like Subway's sandwiches. Recently they've tried to attract more customers by always offering to heat up your sandwich like some of the other sub chains do, but I prefer the old way. My favorite sub is the Veggie Delite. I know people may think it's weird to eat a sub without meat but it's good, just make sure you get everything on it like cheese, all the veggies, the oil and salt and pepper. If I do eat meat I usually get the Cold Cut Trio. Subway has good prices, fresh food, and chips or cookies to complete your meal.

The best part of going to A&W is their root beer floats. I don't think that the burgers and fries and everything else are that good, so what keeps me going there is solely the floats. And as for KFC, their chicken is ok but I feel like getting a meal there for your whole family is overpriced. If their prices were a little cheaper I would probably go more often. But other than that I like their biscuits with honey and mashed potatoes with gravy. And the mac and cheese is pretty good.

Kids would have fun here but I always go after ten when it's like a Chuck E. Cheese's for grown ups. They have bars, pool, and all kinds of games. My favorite are the car race ones where you can race your friends. They serve food as well but it's a little overpriced. And a lot of the games are like the ones at Chuck's where you play and earn tickets that you can redeem for prizes. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes you have to pay to get in. It's only like $3 and it's only on certain nights after a certain time, which I can't recall. But I don't think they should charge to get this place, but other than that it's fun.

I never even heard of Legends until my friend moved right down the street from this one. They serve burgers, fries and a ton of other stuff too. I like to get the grilled cheese, fries and of course, a shake. All of my friends love their fried zucchini and mushrooms. If you go inside to eat the restaurant is filled with red american diner stuff. And if you go through the drive don't be expecting a quick 2 minute wait. They cook everything to order so it takes a bit longer to get your food.

I have been to many different Applebee's and this one has to be the worst. I don't expect a culinary masterpiece from this place but just some basic ok food and service would be nice. I think that the problem must be with the management. They obviously do not demand high quality from their employees. My big pet peeve with this place has been with being carded. I look young so I always expect to be carded but on a few occasions here I was carded twice. I felt like it was embarrassing and completely unnecessary. I've never been carded twice at any other restaurant I go to. What happens is that I order a drink, the waiter or waitress takes a look at my ID, then a manager comes out and asks for it again. It has happened more than once, but only here and no where else. That's why I don't think the problem is with my ID, which is current and legit.The management here needs some new training.

I first went to try Big Sky after finding a coupon for the restaurant in my local paper. I thought that the people there were very nice. I usually sit at the bar when I get sushi but here, I sat at a table. I ordered an assortment of sushi, including my favorite, salmon. The sushi was ok and the service was good. But with so many sushi restaurants opening up, I would recommend trying a few and finding one that you like. I noticed that Big Sky had a lot of unique rolls to offer that I hadn't seen elsewhere.
