The antipast is out of this world as is everything here. Be wary of the great drinks, they are so good...the wines are tasty and they serve a mean martini!

Mmmmm. That is all I can say. I am not talking about ok, passable or even good. They are simply some of the best sandwiches you can find, whether it's cold, grilled or hot, they are all done with care. The menu can be somewhat overwhelming, but they can cook up one hell of a breakfast, too. Try it some time...

And the little cornbread loaves are soooooo good, where is the butter? Chicken and cornbread, they should make a song...If you need lunch, they have a chicken with two sides lunch meal for a great price. AND they deliver.

I think that the Mexican places in New York need to realize that just because they are 3000 plus miles from Mexico does NOT mean they can or should overprice their food (or their drinks, there are too many places to drink in NY to even think about getting away with that).

they have recently raised their prices. I do adore their food, but the price jump was a big one and it's not warranted. I have a feeling it's because they see how popular they are and can get away with it, or maybe it's their bar that they thinks brings them up a notch. I don't know if I will remain a customer here, I can get good Mexican at other places for less money.

Just to let you know, you don't have to order steak here. They do seafood, burgers, and even traditional pasta dishes. And be wary of ordering the poorly named double porterhouse (for 2), it's not twice the size of the regular porterhouse. if you both have a hearty appetite, you won't be happy.

TThis is a great place to do a proposal, celebrate Valentine's Day or any other important occasion. The service is to be commended (they were very attentive without being overbearing) and everything delivered to our table was delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable and I highly recommend you have dinner here.

This is a diner in all senses of the word. And that is a good thing: the service is friendly, the entrees come with soup, salad and bread (great for the price), and you can order almost anything and you'll be a happy camper. And I am not the only one to think this, since every time I am here, its bustling (always wanted to use that word). Check it out!

and no, I am not talking about that ridiculous clown from The Simpsons, either. I am talking about the ever elusive perfect bagel, crusty on the outside and doughy on the inside. Bagels this perfect can be eaten by itself, no lox, no cream cheesse, no nothing. And the fact that they do it better for less than the chains is great, too.

but I think that may be because the place doesn't look like it deserves for the prices to be what they are. However, the food does live up to the pricing..and the neighborhood. It may be a coffee shop, but remember that coffee shops started out being a place that you could count on getting a lot of great food for your money. That still stands here, even if it is New York.
