that's how good the bagels are. I dont' know where they don't sell bagels, so these have to be good for me to bring someone that is from out of town here. I didn't give them five stars because sometimes the service is a bit brusque. However, I think that is because their bagels are so good that if folks are going out of town, this is one of their stops on the way to the airport. I would have a big head, too...

but that's ok. They are great dishes. And I don't know if other restaurants do this, but here, they let your steak "rest" for about 10 minutes after roasting it so that it keeps it's natural juiciness. Mmmm. If you're not sure what to order, they have a great tasting menu (five courses for $75), but everyone at the table must have it. All of the desserts here are heavenly, but one of the best I have ever had is their "Dessert Trilogy for Two" and all I will tell you is that it invloves 24 karat gold.

Because this lounge is almost perfect and I would have given it four and a half stars if I could. I know that this is a restaurant and the food is first and foremost, but I MUST give the sommelier kudos, because the wines suggested went so well with dinner, that I really believe that it made the meal even better for having it. I love the open kitchen, which means that they invite you to watch them while they create well-done, flavorful dishes for you.

By that I mean that you get reat food and service, but don't pay here what you would at other places for the saem experience. I can appreciate that greatly, especially considering that this is authentic French, yet without the authentic French attitude. The seafood's freshness is evident in every bite and their wines (French, of course) are reasonably priced and very good. Be sure to save room for dessert, you'll be happy you did.

to perfection, I mean. It's a very small place, but I thinkit adds to the ambiance (reservations, reservations, reservations). The owners take pride in their place, which starts thing off on a wonderful foot. Which is picked up by the food they serve, which is simply divine and so well done. And the service is so caring, that if you can afford it, you should visit often.

Just go and for one amount you get all you could ever want. Which is their Prix Fixe dinner for $49, which includes an appetizer, the entree and dessert (there is a $4 extra fee for certains items to be substituted). That is all that is on the menu, so please be prepared to pay that $49 minimum, not including tip and wine, of course and to allow for the certain items that cost that extra. But it is worth it, I promise you. A great place to celebrate.

You may not understand the flavors and dishes here the first few times, because we have been so conditioned to quasi-Chinese fast food. But just give it a few visits and you'll understand what real Chinese food is. You can't go wrong with their lunch specials ($6.95), either. You most likely will have some leftovers for a snack later. Yum...

because it's usually delivered when I am in the area. Have you ever simply ordered out from a place only to actually go in one day and it's the most disgusting place you have ever seen? However, one day I found myself in the area and I was VERY happy to see that the restaurant itself is extremely clean. So I can continue to eat from here and have a clear mind...The food is great and very fresh, by the way.

I didn't give them a higher rating because I know that people that need to eat kosher food don't mess around with their food being what they need (and expect) it to be. They don't answer you here about whether or not it is kosher, they just let you think it is, which isn't good enough. The food is good, but the portions are not up to snuff with the other delis in the city, yet the prices are. Something doesn't add up here.
I would be VERY careful if you NEED kosher food before dining here.

I say that because it sounds like the United Nations in here. The waitstaff may not speak italiano, but many of it's patrons do and that was a bit of a note to me that this was a good place. Everything here is done well and is fresh: the panini, the cappucino and the hot chocolate is the best you will ever have (besides your mother's of course-wink, wink). Perfect for a cold fall or winter day...
