The Build-A-Bear Workshop® is a store filled with stuffed and unstuffed animals. Probably the majority of its customers are celebrating in some way, whether a birthday, birthday party, special achievement, or giving a gift to a loved one.
The store is very enticing. It is clean, colorful, and filled with fluffy and soft animals waiting for you to choose them and stuff them. Not only are there many stuffed animals in the store, but also many cute outfits and accessories for the animals to wear.
When you decide to stuff an animal, you get to choose a soft heart to put inside the animal, which is a very sweet thing to do.
The people who work there have always been very nice and friendly. When we went there for my daughter's birthday, I told one of the workers that it was her birthday and she gave us a FREE birthday CD!
This store offers a special experience for children or even adults who like stuffed animals or want to buy a special gift for the one they love.

If you want some good "Buffalo Style" chicken wings in Colorado, look no further than Wingman in Lakewood. This restaurant started up in 1981 (according to their website) because a family moved from New York to Colorado and could not find a decent "Buffalo Style" chicken wing.
I guess this family could not live in CO any longer without decent buffalo wings, so they started their own restaurant to make 'em.
The wings taste great, and there are even 6 different sauce flavors to choose among for each order: Mild, Medium, Hot, X-Hot, BBQ, and Teriyaki. I recommend the Teriyaki. Each order comes with celery sticks and the choice of Bleu Cheese or Ranch dressing.

Have you ever ridden a duck? I have twice. Well, it's not a real duck, just a vehicle that can go on land or water, so it's called a duck. It's a pretty neat experience to have at least once.
To Ride the Ducks http://www.bransonducks.com/ in Branson, MO means you board this bus-type vehicle that has no windows so it's all open out top. The driver is the tour guide who speaks into a microphone during the entire trip explaining all about Branson and making silly and not-so-funny jokes. Don't worry, though, because when you board the Duck you get a quack-maker that you can quack whenever the tour guide wasn't funny. :)
Most of the ride is on land, but eventually you roll quickly down this hill and splash into the water without too much warning! Sometimes you get splashed a bit but we didn't when we went. It depends on how windy the weather is, I guess.
You're only in the water for about 10 minutes, and the driver lets the kids take turns steering. Then, back to land you go and that's about it.
Riding the Ducks is something to experience at least once. You can go in Branson as well as in Philadelphia, Memphis, & Baltimore.

Silver Dollar City http://www.silverdollarcity.com/ in Branson, MO rates between 3 and 4 stars for me. I've been 3 times there, and overall I find it an okay theme park. It's unique, since the people who work there wear old-timey clothes, and there are shops that actually make candy or soap or whatever else right in front of you and you can sample it or buy it afterward.
There are some fun rides there. I don't think they quite compare to Six Flags, but they are pretty good. The last time I was there (Nov '06) I enjoyed the new upside-down roller coaster called Wild Fire!!! I rode it twice in a row. Oh, the park closes at 9 (at least it did the night we were there) anyway, all the older people who are there only for the shows left at 8 so we had an hour to nearly ourselves to do whatever we wanted.
This is definitely a theme park I recommend if you're in Branson, even if it's not 5 stars to me.

If you're going to Branson, one of the attractions I'd recommend you go to is Showboat Branson Belle http://www.showboatbransonbelle.com/ . This is a land-locked ship that allows you to dine while having live entertainment and cruising out on the water.
I've been to the Branson Belle twice, once in 1999 and recently in 2006, and both times were quite lovely. After boarding, you find your way to your seats and almost immediately get a salad, rolls, and drinks served right to your table. A deejay comes and starts the show, then comes some very fine band music, and eventually singing and dancing.
Then more food comes (and it's all really good food, too), then dessert. Once you're done eating, you have intermission, then come back for the real show. The lights are dimmed and you sit back and watch the great dancing, singing, doggie ventriloquism act, the gymnasts, and whatever else Showboat Branson Belle decides to give you. It's a fun time, and the entertainment is great. This is something I'd definitely not want to miss while in Branson.

While in Branson on vacation my family and I went to Golden Corral http://www.goldencorral.net/menu/hot.asp for lunch one day. We were very hungry, and we were not disappointed one bit in the abundance of food choices or the taste of the food. The service was not bad either. It's a buffet, but a server does bring you rolls, more plates, and whatever else you may need.
I greatly enjoyed the Bourbon Street Chicken that my husband put on his plate. I ended up going to get some of it as well. Also I love salads, and there were many different types of salads available. I filled up on just a few of the buffet dishes so I couldn't try everything. :( But I did get some fudge right before we left that was divine.
I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Branson and hungry!
*After I wrote this review I read the other reviews of this same restaurant, and I have to recommend also that you come after the buses have left. Otherwise the buffet will be swamped.*

Upon my family's recent trip to Branson for the Christmas holiday season 2006 (which Branson starts Nov 1st), we met my parents and stayed in a roomy condo at Thousand Hills Golf Resort http://www.thousandhills.com/?source=ppc_g_th_thousand-hills-branson-mo&ovchn=GGL&ovcpn=Thousand_Hills&ovcrn=thousand+hills+branson+mo&ovtac=PPC&utm_source=GGL&utm_campaign=Thousand%2BHills&utm_content=Thousand%5FHills&utm_term=thousand%2Bhills%2Bbranson%2Bmo&utm_medium=PPC .
I don't know about any of the other condos except ours, but my entire family liked the condo we stayed in. This place had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a casual bar dining area, a large kitchen with all the appliances like dishwasher, coffeemaker, cups, plates, silverware, plus a good-sized washer & drier. The living and connecting dining room was absolutely huge. It was more than enough room for the 6 of us. Plus there was a balcony, with a table and chairs out there.
We were on the main floor, but there were condos above and below us. It was a great place to stay, and I recommend Thousand Hills Golf Resort condos highly if you're staying in Branson with more than 1 or 2 people.

I didn't actually see this restaurant, because the pizzas were picked up and brought to our house by the people who lived there, but I absolutely LOVED the Calzone Rings http://www.mazzios.com/fr_menu_calzone_ring.html .
The pizza was good, too, but after eating the Calzone Rings, I really didn't want the pizza because the Rings were so very tasty. I wish Denver had a Mazzio's. Great food!

The Oklahoma Aquarium http://www.okaquarium.org/ was a nice place to visit while my family was passing through Oklahoma. This aquarium is located near Tulsa in Jenks, OK.
From what we saw of it, it wasn't the largest aquarium I'd ever been to, but my family really enjoyed seeing the fish, seahorse, sharks, turtles and all the other marine animals.
There was a huge tank of sharks that was interesting. I think the guide told us 15 sharks were currently inside the tank, but it started out with a few hundred sharks (if I remember correctly). We walked through the tank's tunnel and the outside of the tank to see different angles of the sharks.
Also there was an open pool-type area where stingrays swam. At certain times I believe you can touch the stingrays (when we were there touching was off-limits).
There was a turtle area where you could pay like $5 or so to feed the turtles. We didn't do this because there was only about 2 pieces of food in the very small cup, but we watched a little boy feed them. The turtles climbed over one another trying to reach for the food.
This aquarium had lots to see. Pretty fun for kids or adults even to get a little lesson in fish and other marine animals. The cost for an adult is currently $13.95 and children ages 3 - 12 are $9.95. Oh, and under 3 are FREE!

Because we received a coupon in the mail, my family went for dinner at the Elephant Bar Restaurant. We did forget to make reservations, though, and went on a busy night so we had to wait for a while.
While we waited to be seated, my family looked at the menu. We made up our minds before we even had a table, so we were able to place our order immediately to our server.
The food was very good! The prices were not that high, except for kids meals at $4.50, but the kids meal was outstanding. It was a huge portion of chicken, veggies, and rice stir fry in a bowl - which is very healthy for restaurant kids food, and it came with a drink and a hot fudge Sunday.
The adult food was really good, too! I ordered BBQ ribs and chicken breast, which came with cole slaw, corn on the cob, beans and more (I can't remember all of it). But it was all very tasty and plenty to eat. We were very impressed, and will be back, of course after making reservations!
