Brett Llewellyn, OD used to be the practitioner at a dingy Sears optical department here in Seattle. I went to him in frustration because none of the doctors in the fancy medical towers could figure out my eyes. I have both astigmatism and far-sightedness.
On the first try Brett got my glasses right and I have gone back to him ever since. 5 or 6 years ago he moved to the artsy neighborhood around on 15th Ave here in Seattle. The bright colors and cheerful staff he hired make visits there very pleasant. He has very fashionable (although a tad expensive) hardware that isn't exactly my taste but I'm sure would appeal to more image conscious folks.
More than anything, Brett takes the time and has the latest high tech gear to accurately evaluate even the most vexing eye problems, like mine. I'll keep going to see him as long as I can!

Anyone who has looked into the sport of scuba diving can tell you that it’s not cheap. Learning to dive alone can run you $300 or more. Discount Divers Supply in Seattle is sensitive to this issue. I’ve bought more than half my gear there and remain a regular customer. They sell quality gear at reasonable prices. They also are the largest on-line dealer of used equipment. Check out their web site at www.discountdivers.com. Customer service is also quite good there. I have received lots of help with decision-making on gear purchases. They are also a great source of info on local dive spots, dive travel and just shooting the breeze.
