I think this is a great mall, despite it's weird layout. Its never really too crowded and there's lots of great stores in this mall, especially Von Maur, which is hard to find in the Chicago land area. You can easily spend a good few hours just shopping around in the various stores. And the food court here is one of the best ones I have seen in any mall. Perfect place to spend a day shopping.
