I love Whole Foods, I really do, but it's SUPER expensive. I like going in here in the summer for fresh fruit and veggies when I have the extra money to spend. Some of the people who work here can be super snotty. Other than that, it's a good store with quality food stuffs.

This Barnes & Noble has a Starbucks Cafe (not to be confused with an actual Starbucks shop) and miles and miles of space to sit and read (okay, maybe not miles, but there's a lot of places in this shop to sit and read. I love the staircase up to the second floor. There's always a great selection of bargain books (a lot of good gift books for the holidays). This past Christmas I bought a book that Barnes & Noble contributed to kids in need. That was an excellent way to get my gift giving spirit on!

They have a large quarter-fed laundry room, a great sundeck. I love the walkway and park benches. Perfect for relaxing.

If you think sit down diner, you've got Nookies. I like the location (near Lincoln Park) and the waiters/waitresses are very nice. Other than that it's pretty much your normal every day faire. It's kind of annoying they don't take credit or debit cards - I found that out the hard way!

This is the place I go when I need a pick me up. I love the seating (two levels), the food is great and I never have to wait a long time for my food. It's a great date spot. I went here with my best friend and the only thing that might be annoying is we were served water like every five minutes. We thought it was tremendously funny and my friend, Andrew, kept drinking his water so his glass would be empty when the guy came around again to ask. Poor Andrew, he must have had like 20 glasses of water.

There is a lot of things at this store. So much so that I have to stay away from it most of the time. I really enjoy shopping here and they give discounts to students (which is cool). I got beautiful frames and mats here for my photography. The people are very helpful and the sales are awesome. It's kind of annoying to give up your bag/purse/backpack when you're shopping, but you get over it.

I adore Wendys food. The prices are great and you can get a lot of "healthier" options (in this sense, healthier means.. not really healthy, but better than fries). I love the frostees. There is a large seating area at this Wendys and two sets of registers so service is fast even though there seems to be long lines during lunch.

From everything I've heard the change to Macys should be a very positive one (I've been talking to people who work there). They're keeping a lot of the traditions (Christmas included) and from what I know of Macys the prices should go down while the quality stays the same. I love the deli and etc on the bottom level (it's a great place to eat and talk). They also have like three Starbucks in or around the building, some great sales in the bottom and a lot of VERY helpful sales associates.

Looking for that perfect addition to your home or apartment decor? It's here. I should buy stock I've bought so much stuff from here. Everything is "unique" and fun - in colors I love. Both my sister and I have found things we like here (and it's rare to find that because we both have really different tastes). I highly recommend the candles here - I love the way they burn and the way they smell. And they have GREAT sales.

Pockets is one of my favorite places to eat at. It was the first place I ate at when I started going to school here (the location now is closed though). I love their selection. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. There's a lot of choices and you can order online and get it delievered! Even if you don't have a lot of money just getting their bread sticks is a great meal in and of itself.
