I really like the atmosphere of this resturant, but the food is pretty standard. My friend Sandra and I went here and sat at the bar. The bartender was super nice and the food was a bit of a wait, but it didn't really matter. The location is just off Michigan Ave., which makes it nice, but for my money I'd go to Baja Fresh or Chipotle.

I went here to get my eyebrows done (I'm way to squeemish to do them myself) and the lady was extremely nice. I didn't have any problems (other than it hurts to get your eyebrows done). They always seem to be free so waiting isn't a big deal. It's right in the middle of my office building, so it's quick and easy. The prices are expected, given they're in the city. They also have tanning, facials, massage, mani-pedi combos and waxing.

I like Baja Fresh as a change from Chipotle (though I perfer Chipotle for the amount of food you get). The nachos here are awesome! The meats are less spicey and the guacamole is good. We recently did a phone survey and got a free chips/guac out of it. The service is okay. They have very clean restrooms though (which, in the city, is something I appreciate).

For a long time I avoid Brians. Mostly because I didn't think I wanted to add another sandwhich shop to my list of places to eat. Man, I was missing out. Their sandwhichs are deliciousssssssss and the prices are really great. I usually get a Chicken Breast sandwhich there and it's extremely yummy. The people are super friendly.

I've been going to Tempo since college. The location is great, the food is delicious (I like their cheescake especially) and it's a wonderful place to go for a late night conversation. Their breakfasts are really good as well. You can get a lot of food for a reasonable price. The coffee is hit and miss though.

In the summer there's always a ton of kids (and even adults) splashing in the waterfountains between the two ginarmous video screen towers. The ice skating is fun to watch (I can't ice skate, but my sister loves to). There's a ton of police patroling so don't be alarmed. They're just there to protect the bean! (Honestly that's what they told us when I asked).

Most of Cosi's menu I don't bother with because, in my opinion, it's way too expensive, but I love bringing dates and friends here for the smores. You get a small plate with graham crackers, marshmellows, and chocolate to make your own smores over a small fire. It's a kick to make and eat your smores in the middle of downtown Chicago.

I got both my eyes examed and my glasses here. Just as promised Lenscrafters was fast, accurate and fairly affordable. They have maintained my glasses too since I've purchased them (and they even maintained my previous pair even though I didn't buy it from them). The service is above and beyond what I expected. I was at a loss for what type of glasses to get and the technition picked out the perfect pair.
