Wamu has been an awesome place to bank. This branch was extremely helpful when my sister opened her bank account. They even sent her a birthday/Christmas card this year! I love the teller stations...
Wamu has been an awesome place to bank. This branch was extremely helpful when my sister opened her bank account. They even sent her a birthday/Christmas card this year! I love the teller stations (they don't have a window like most places). The colors and decor are just awesome as well. It feels trendy and modern.

This Caribou is part of an office building. So it's kind of small, but the service is excellent. I love the Zebra Mochas (for some reason they taste better here). There's a row of barstools if you want to sit, but it's a great place to just grab and go. The decor and menu is the same as most Caribou's so no big surprises..

I've been here for three different performances. The staff is great, the ticket prices reasonable and the food/drink available a bit expensive - but delicious. Last visit my sister and I had the fries and they were to die for. Recently there was a mix up with my credit card and they resolved it with little to no headaches.

I have been here a couple times and enjoyed it. The venue is good for rocking bands - it just has the feel of rock in it. The bar staff is very nice and so are most of the people who work there. I had a nasty run in with one of the guys because I was trying to get in to see a friend of mine play (he had left a ticket for me, but the guy couldn't find it). He was pretty rude, but I'm sure he has people trying to sneak in all the time.

The guy who was working (which I haven't seen him there before, so it might have been a fluke) was SO unhelpful. Maybe we were spoiled with Old Town Aquarium, but he didn't offer anything to go along with our purchase. He was going to let us go off with just a hamster! Ha! Honestly, I think you can do better elsewhere. The other time we were in there the cashier was SO unfriendly. You'd think we were buying ten cents worth of stuff rather than the $75 worth of stuff.

They deliver which was nice more than once when I was in college. The actual restaurant was kind of dirty/hole in the wallish, but the food is worth the price.

I personally love this Jewel store. I love the checkout lines, I love the people who work there (I live like a block away) and I love the fact it's open all the time. They've recently remodled and the store looks flipping fantastic. I perfer this over Dominicks (which in my mind is way too bright and shiney for my tastes). I go here often (and have for the past six years) and have never had a problem.

They also are friendly to non-alcholoic drinkers (which is rare for a bar.. trust me). The location is great too, lots to see and do in this little corner of Chicago.
