I always visit Flower Garden when I'm looking to pick up a corsage. They take very unique combinations of flowers, all in the same colors, and create wonderful wrist corsages. They range in price from $5 and up, making them afforadable for anyone's budget. Also, the price is great if you're needing to purchase several at once. If you need more than 3 corsages, make sure you call ahead with your specifications so they can have them ready for you. Otherwise, they can usually create them while you wait. I have even picked up pre-made ones to save on time, and found the flowers to still be fresh and beautiful. They're also boxed well.

The Garden Gate is a great florist to visit for those who are seeking more traditional flowers and floral arrangements. There aren't any exotic flowers sold here, but they do have great roses and tulips. They seem to have tulips available more often than most florists, even when they are technically out of season. Garden Gate dyes their roses at your request, and the result looks as though the rose had been picked with that color. The prices are on target, and they often have specials on select arrangements which include the vase for free.

I wouldn't recommend Sushi Garden to someone who considers themself a more discriminating consumer of sushi. There is nothing remarkable about the sushi served at the Sushi Garden. The California Rolls are good, but that's not really the mark of a great sushi restaurant/chef. I found the presentation to be sloppy, as well as the way in which the sushi was laid on the rice and noodle beds. The price is low, so for sushi fans on a definite budget, this would be be better than not having sushi at all.

Garden Communities is a housing development/apartment complex with affordable rent and storage space available for rent at extra cost. The location is great, and positions you within just a few blocks of most everything you'd need; groceries, gym, coffee shops, as well as numberous specialty stores for weekend projects and window shopping. The leases are fair, and the landlords are professional and accomodating. They have repair requests completed ASAP, and will respond on weekends if the need requires it.

The Japanese Friendship Garden is small, but the admission is inexpensive, and I've found that the benefit of visiting after a long, stressful week is priceless. This garden is kept in pristine condition, and the other statues and sculptures are kept to a minimum. This leaves the space uncluttered and allows for walking without such things getting in the way and interrupting the calming atmosphere. I go early in the mornings on Saturday to avoid the weekend rush. This is a charming little garden and a great alternative to visiting the park.

Lawn Installers installed my underground sprinkler system last summer, and I was impressed with several aspects of the entire installation process. They installed the sprinkler system with minimal destruction to my lawn and landscaping. They were punctual and finished the job ahead of schedule. They do free estimates whether or not you hire them for the job. The price Lawn Installers quoted was the exact price I paid, so there were no financial surprises at the end.

What sets this doctor apart from the others are the appointment coordinators working the phones and reception desk. They are professional and accomodating, and work hard to make sure you get an appointment as soon as possible. They reserve slots for emergency appointments and are understanding if you need to cancel at the last minute. They also do a great job with their billing, and I've never had a problem with my insurance company regarding reimbursement for services.

I recommend getting the homemade wheat bread and trying their roast beef sandwich with the horseradish sauce and provolone cheese. You can make substitutions to any of the sanwiches and they have a a lot of veggie toppings to choose from. I go here at least once a week!

While they do offer styles that would suit any decor, the prices won't match every budget. If you're looking for that perfect lampshade to finish off a room, I guarantee you will find it there. However, be prepared to pay a lot of money for it. I did purchase a few lampshades here as it was worth it to find just what I needed. I'd recommend shopping around first.

Buddha's Light has a very calming atmosphere, and I sometimes just stop in for de-stressing (though I almost always leave with a great book). This bookstore is small, but the selection is absolutely huge, as all of the books are on the specific topic of buddhism. I have not found another bookstore as specific as this one, and even though they're a small store, the prices are all below retail! I've found identical books at the chain stores, and they're always more expensive. The staff at Buddha's knows their stuff, and will direct you to books that'll best benefit you, based on your interests.
