The Courier Cafe is an awesome place to go for lunch, especially if you like history or are with someone who does. Located in a historic local building with lots of artifacts (including a fun antique gumball game that kids love), the Courier has excellent food and a great atmosphere. They also have a distinctive menu that includes old time treats like egg creams and phosphates that you rarely see anywhere else.
Their Reuben Sandwich is fantastic, which is often my best measure of a lunch restaurant, and the appetizers are very good. I've never been disappointed when I've gone there, and it's a great place to take my parents or in-laws when they visit from out of town.
