Seasons pizza is a small shop in the heart of Newark Delaware at the U of Delaware. They have a very extensive menu of items, including all kinds of salads and sandwiches. I love their tuna hoagie with bacon. The biggest problem is on-site parking. They only have a few spaces near their building, so you often have to walk quite a way to eat there. If you like the college atmosphere in most of their customers, you will enjoy this place. It's noisy, but fun if you are ready for it.

Pittsburgh's new and larger Convention Center still needs some improvement to bring it up to ones in other cities. The building is beautiful (and larger than the old one), but beyond that, it still leaves one drained at the end of the day. Parking for most events is quite expensive. The prices for snacks and small sandwiches is very expensive. It becomes prohibitive for any sized family to attend most events there. Convention business is down even though this is a new larger facility. I say bring the prices down, improve customer relations, and perhaps attendance will also pick up.

Judy Dewey's notary service is a locally owned business at is run by a very friendly, customer oriented staff. They are knowledgeable in all phases of notary work, including title transfers, vehicle registrations, and other auto transfers. I have used their service many times and have been very pleased with their work. They have always gone out of their way to answer all of my questions, and their fees charged have been very reasonable. As an added plus, they are open six days a week for service.

This is a thrift store established by the St Vincent DePaul Society similar to a Goodwill Store. It is located in a former grocery store and is packed from wall to wall with gently used clothing, toys, furniture, etc. You can bring gentle used or new items to donate to the store. The store provides an outlet to the lower income families in need of used clothing apparel. Their prices are set fairly low to help the less fortunate shop for needed goods and clothing. Thanks to the goodness of many people donating, there is always an ample and ever changing supply of clothing to be had by the less fortunate. They do outstanding work for the community.

A small Italian Restaurant that is a gem of a find. It is run by Mrs. Lobello, who does most of the cooking. The seating area only holds about 20 at most. But this is a restaurant not to be missed if you enjoy true home-made Italian cooking. The menu includes all of the traditional dishes, with each one superbly prepared. Friendly atmosphere, reasonable prices, and outstanding taste. Also don't be in a hurry, as there is no rushing to get you fed and out at this place. If you like great Italian meals, you will love this place.

Montour Hardware Store is a customer friendly store that is located in the heart of Coraopolis. It is not a large store, as they go, but is filled from floor to ceiling with many varieties of items. The staff go out of their way to try and resolve your problems, or help you figure out what replacement parts you nay need. They often run specials in the local newspapers, or have in store specials going on all of the time. All of my visits there have resulted in me getting the parts I needed or buying the items that I wanted.

You feel as though you are reliving history itself when you visit Ford's Theater. I walked right up to the door behind the balcony box that was shot through to assassinate Abraham Lincoln. In the basement is a full museum devoted to the events that unfolded there, from the death mask of the President to the clothes he wore. This is a must see historical site on anyones trip to DC. The theater is also used for special events. It is free to the Public. One of the best historic sites to see.

If you are looking for an old fashioned hardware store, then this is the place to go. The owner has hardware all over the inside of the store, and on first impressions, you would wonder how he could find anything there. But that is where the surprise is. He can find everything at a moments notice, and seems to be able to solve any type of repair or supply any type of part that you might need. The owner is also very devoted to his customers. He truly loves his job and the people that he helps. A far change from todays rapid pace type businesses.

This store is a family run business that specializes is outdoor gardening, and farm supplies and truly caters to their customers. They carry items from topsoil to birdseed to wire for fencing. Any item that can help the gardener or farmer is available from them. They spend any amount of time and will talk to you and help you with any problem concerning the outdoors and gardening. They also help you load any of your purchases into your car or truck. They usually run specials in the local newspapers.

It's not just a bar. It's a great wings, fries, and sandwich establishment. The lunchtime crowd on a Friday is usually SRO. The sandwich menu is nothing special, but contains many of the expected entrées. I love the ranch wings. My friends go for the Cajun and super Cajun variety. Since it is a small place, it can get a bit noisy when the house is full. Also the tables are somewhat crowded together for maximum seating capabilities.
