Peanut Butter Ice Cream

The first thing that will jump out at you with this place is definitely the decor. With the pink lighting and long, white veils hanging from the ceiling, this place screams South Beach more than Seattle. Normally, that would kind of annoy me. In this case though, they consistently pull off the chic theme: dramatic food presentation, beautiful wait staff, and elegant bathrooms.
I am surprised to see that some people have actually questioned the food. The chef certainly gets creative, but I thought he pulled it off very well. My girlfriend had the venison (surprisingly difficult to find here in Seattle), and I had the seared ahi topped with a poached egg. Unorthodox, but like I said, well done. Someone else referred to the wine list as eclectic. Again, I appreciate consistency, so I like that they were creative in this area. That being said, I wasn't a big fan of the wines they offered.
What I am a fan of, however, was the peanut butter ice cream. Believe me, I was skeptical when I first heard about this concoction too. But all I can say is that the PB ice cream was absolutely amazing. You really need to try it for yourself to know what I'm talking about. The fact that this dessert is topped off with a Nutter Butter further demonstrates the attention to detail that makes this restaurant worth the steep cost.
