Okay, you're looking for a child psychologist or therapist, right? Well this one has some terrific toys in her office for the kids, but her assessment was thrown out of court in my visitation case. King County could not make any sense of her recommendations and she did a 180 degree turn when she thought she would lose the referral (and the $$$). She is in practice with Tona McGuire who recommended her in my case, also a little heavy on the "piled higher and deeper" index. In their favor, they do have an excellent collection of stickers for their clients... Respect your kid's intelligence and go elsewhere...

Yes, sports fans, it truly is the case that you can stay in practice unless your caught stealing your client's money. Presently married to Karen Everitt-Emery also in his firm (and SHE practices FAMILY LAW) If you want a pedophilia defense, go see him (he can probably drum up some "my mommy made me do it" defense). Makes your skin crawl, doesn't it?

Mr Hawes is in bed with these two (no pun intended) as the building in which they practice was purchased by Mr. Getz's mommy and daddy and Mr. Hawes is tied to that transaction. Makes one wonder what Mr. Hawes has up his sleeve (or in his closet, so to speak)...

Gary L Brown acting as defense counsel in a divorce proceeding Getz vs Getz (sealed file) in which his client, an attorney by the name of Robert N Getz (check him out on the wsba.gov website) was court ordered to seek sexual deviancy treatment through NW Treatment Associates on Galer Ave for abusing multiple women and children. Brown presented to the court that the allegations were drummed up by the soon to be ex despite what the evaluations showed. Since that time, his client has again sexually abused a woman, this time a client so not so easy to seal the file on this one!!! The bar association slapped Mr. Getz's hand and suspended him from practice for 6 months. Well done, Mr. Brown!!!

When she took her son to the visitation site to meet his father, she was killed by the father (a known abuser) because Mr Ponomarchuk failed to act on a protection order. You can check the case on google. So, if you want a crappy lawyer, see Anderson and Fields...

years ago my mother went to Gayle McElroy and Lowell Halvorson in a complex visitation issue and was given good advice. Subsequently, after paying Ms. McElroy a substantial retainer to continue after she left the Halvorson firm, Ms. McElroy backed out of the case (not a popular case as my mother had just divorced a WA attorney who is a pedophile, still happily practicing in Snohomish County) at the last minute. What was never revealed to my mother, until years later, was a family court services document in the possession of Alice Probert that was an assessment of my father for sexual deviancy which found him at high risk of offending, along with his own narrative in which he relayed all types of abuse of women and children. The many lawyers my mother sought assistance from never told her of the presence of the document and we spent the next fifteen years fleeing and hiding from this pedophile until a lawyer sent us a copy of the document. The following attorneys easily could have accessed and used the document to help my mother and me: Gayle McElroy, Leonid Ponomarchuk, Anderson & Fields, Michele Coad. Years later, my father sexually abused a client and was given 6 months suspension from practice (see WSBA site for attorney Robert Getz - remarried to family law attorney Karen Everitt Emery). I would not touch any of the above attorneys with a ten foot pole for family law and, frankly, my mother should take their licenses to practice for what we went through.
