My wife and I took a couple of friends to Brasa on Friday night for dinner. After reading a bit about the restaurant, it seemed like a safe choice and for the most part it was. When we arrived at 7:30, I expected a crowded Belltown restaurant alive with energy but instead walked in to a place that was only a quarter full. The food was good and the service was attentive but relaxed. I had a spinach salad that had a little too much dressing on it and a suckling pig (house specialty evidently) that was ever so slightly over cooked. We enjoyed our meal at Brasa but felt like maybe the restaurant had seen better days.

It's been a few years since I've been to the Scarlet Tree. However, when I lived in the neighborhood back in the late 90s, my friends and I were regulars on the weekends. Good brunch and jazz and a laid back scene. Rumor has it it was one of the better spots for jazz in the city but I never caught a set.

Most Broadband service providers (DSL or Cable) offer wireless packages these days. Comcast is a good place to start if you're OK with cable. Checkout their Website for wireless packages and pricing. Then head over to one of the local DSL providers and see if they've got something comparable that meets your needs. I think it's better to get the wireless package through your service provider in any case because you'll get help setting it up and maintaining it as part of the deal.

I've been to two rehearsal dinners at Cater Arts. One for my brother's wedding and another for the wedding of good friends. In both cases there were around 100 guests (I think). The place sits right on the north end of Lake Union and has a great view of the Seattle skyline. Even better than the view is the food and service. Northwest cuisine served with a laid back smile. Give them a call.

I work down the street from this Eastlake pizza place. When I have the time and a craving for 'za, I like head to Pazzos. While it's not the best pie in the city, it's pretty darn good and always served with a smile. Pazzo's isn't just a lunch place. It's a good spot for a relaxed, casual dinner as well. The small outdoor courtyard on warm evenings is as good a spot as any to unwind after a long day at the office.

My name is Gavriel and I teach piano lessons in the South Sound (Federal Way area).
I completely understand what you are saying about piano lessons being fun. Unfortunately many of my fellow teachers are seeking the superior student to make a name for themselves, rather than enjoy each student for their own potential and ability.
I'm not sure where North Sand Point is, but I would be willing to travel if it is not terribly far which would relate in the lesson being too expensive for you! I could easily make a later appointment on Wednesday or Friday evenings. Tuesday evening is a possibility as well depending upon time.
I do teach more traditional methods in the beginning years, only with the fun factor! Practicing can become cumbersome for little people if what they are doing isn't fun! In later years, I teach more creatively and add personal composition along with jazz, rag, classical and sometimes even pop. I tend to teach what the student is interested in along with the traditional classic composers. If your child is interested in learning all the different kinds of music, we will make sure to accommodate that!

For wedding invitations, this process was so much better than looking through books of potential designs. You can bring in a picture of your wedding site or a special memento and they will create a design that is unique.
