Just Between Friends Children's Consignment Sale is held twice a year in Norman and twice in Oklahoma City. Over 500 consignors bring their gently used clothes, toys, furniture and baby equipment to be sold to the public during the sale. I have consigned at children's consignment stores in the past and left very disappointed with the small amount of money offered to me for my daughters nice clothes! At JBF you keep 70% of what the item sells for and YOU decide how much to price it! I now enjoy cleaning out the closets and thinking about how I will use the money to buy next seasons clothes. The staff are all so nice. You really feel like you have made new friends by just shopping or consigning! I encourage you to check out their website for yourself. Tell me what you think! Have you shopped "the sale" before? What was your favorite bargain? Mine was a beautiful Storybook Heirloom dress for less than $20!!! Here is the link: www.justbetweenfriends.com Click on Oklahoma. Don't forget to tell me what you think! Until next time...many blessings and bargains! :)

Dishing It Up!'s motto is:" WE SHOP, WE CHOP, YOU HEAT, YOU EAT!"
I LOVE this business!!! They have created what families all over the US need. The ability to create quality and nutritious meals in a fraction of the time it would take by doing it all yourself. To get started you go to their website where you select the meals you would like to make and how many. Then, you select a time to go to the store/kitchen and put your meals together. All the ingredients are already set up and prepared to go into your dish (i.e. chopped, sliced, etc.) All you have to do is measure them out and put it into a bag! When you have finished putting your meals together you go home and put all the bags/meals into your freezer till you are ready to get one out and cook it! Almost every meal I have made from DIUp has been absolutely delicious! One of the best parts is that it is affordable! Because they buy the ingredients in such large quantities it is less expensive and that savings is passed on to us. The meat has impressed me. It is a higher quality than what I can buy here at the market. I really love knowing what we are going to eat for dinner and KNOWING that I have ALL the ingredients because, "it's in the bag!" Have you tried this type of cooking before? Have you gone to Dishing It UP or thought about it? What do you think? Until next time...many blessings!

Applebee's is a great place for Everyone to get to eat really good food. They offer several options for all different food diets. If you are counting "points" they have how many "points" a meal is printed right on the menu! No more counting! If you are just trying to eat healthy they offer many different delicious meals that are on the lighter side. Of course the majority of the menu is regular ol' American food, but with a slightly different twist making it unique to Applebee's. Some see their ever changing menu as a good thing. They like trying new things. However if you have a favorite, it might not be there next time you have a craving. They tend to change the menu a few times a year. I would hate to see my favorite Mandarin Chicken Salad disappear from the menu... What do you think? Should they keep the same dishes on the menu or do you crave change? Let us know...until next time...many blessings!

Cafe' Plaid is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always so fresh and delicious! They are open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday and brunch on Sunday.
Cafe' Plaid offers a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches. As well as yummy baked goods to be enjoyed with a cup of hot coffee or tea.
The chicken salad is my personal favorite! A large portion is served on a bed of greens. Mmmm.... I can not pass up their chocolate chip cookies, they are incredible! THE BEST COOKIE I have ever had!
Another great thing about the Cafe' Plaid is it's location and atmosphere. Located right across the street from the University of Oklahoma in Campus Corner. It is a very quaint restaurant. You will not find another quite like it. It is a wonderful place to meet a friend for coffee or to bring the family for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. If you live in the area make sure you drop by at least for a cookie! Then, let me know what you think! Looking forward to hearing from you...Until next time...many blessings!

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a wonderful organization! I did not categorize it because I think it fits into each category. When you get a group of moms together you can get information and help on just about any topic! MOPS meets by-weekly and has several different groups that meet in the OKC metro area. Moms meet in one area while the children are in a separate area. The kids are always cared for with love and given different activities to do while in "class". Children from newborn through K are welcome in Moppets. Moms often do crafts and listen to encouraging speakers. I would highly recommend this group to any mom and her children! It is encouraging, fun and uplifting! I will write another review on MOPS soon with more detail.
