Located in the center of the thriving River Market's hot area, at 5th and Walnut, the RMBC is another of KC's bars that is more restaurant than bar, spatially speaking. However, patrons are welcome to sit wherever they like, whether they are eating or not. The food, with some notable exceptions(like the 16-oz KC Strip) is standard American bar fare.
The dining area is smoke-free, which is pleasant after walking through the smoky bar area. Pints of hand-crafted beer made in the brewery's visible brewhouse runs for only $3 a draw, and usually includes something unique.
