Don't go here for tires

Sunday, April 02, 2006
I had a very bad exerpience with Elliott Tires in West Seattle this weekend. Time is money. I made an appointment to bring my car in for a tire rotation on Saturday at 11am. I was told it would take two hours. I had not heard at 1:30pm, so I called to find out it would be done within the hour. When I heard nothing an hour later, I called and they said, "we'll call you". I finally went down to the store almost 5 hours later and they said "we told you by the end of the day". I had witnesses with me that heard the original promise of 2 hours. When I explained that I had a job I had to report to and was late, they handed me my car keys. Either Elliott Tires doesn't realize that customer service is important to any business, no matter how successful you might think you are or they need to get customer service reps who know what scheduling is. When telling a friend of mine about the experience, she explained she got taken for some expensive tires when she had gone there and only later found out she had paid too much. Shame shame on Elliott Tires of West Seattle. Thankfully Les Schwab knows what customer service is about. Better look into better customer service.
