Mi Pueblo grocery store on Rengstorff St. is great for low prices on produce and meat. It has almost as large an array as the Milk Pail--including some unusual Mexican items, but nothing organic and the shelves are loaded with sugary items. The meat department, however, is excellent--with a staff of very energetic, friendly and upbeat young men to serve you--no waiting--and the floor show is great! The whole atmosphere is very party like with gay Mexican music playing and happy faces all around. A pleasure to walk into. In fact, when I am depressed I go in there just for a lift of spirits!
