Convenient, but sketchy atmosphere

Video Americain is an interesting video rental place located in Charles Village--they are convenient for the many college kids in the area, who don't want to have to drive to the nearest Blockbuster. Their rental fees are reasonable, and their selection of movies is decent--they tend to have a bunch of eclectic titles as well as mainstream movies--but they are located in the basement of an apartment building, and the store itself is old and cramped. Worth getting a membership if you don't have a car and refuse to subscribe to Netflix, but otherwise--go elsewhere.
