I've been to the Sydney Opera house to see the Philharmonic perform. Yeah, the outside is cool and unique and exciting, but the inside can't even compare to Kimmel's lavish decoration. The reverb is absolutely perfect for listening to all types of music, from classical to jazz to Taiko drummers. It's an absolute must-see if you live here, and if you're only visiting... well, try to get tickets to something. You won't be disappointed. Located right in Center City, anything else you'd want to do is less than a mile away. Catch a performance and some dinner.
