This site is worth a look. The rooms are very odd--few of them are square, which gives an aura of the unexpected as you poke around the place. The eight-sided chapel is particularly interesting. The tour is self-guided and the staff will give you a pamphlet to guide you. They are also there to answer any additional questions you might have as you stroll through. The furniture is all form the period when the castle was constructed, so if you like antiques, it will pique your interest.
An added treat is the miniature museum on the ground floor. There are enough doll houses and furniture to keep you looking and fascinated for hours!

Okay, I’m a firm believer that as long as a single woman has a decent mechanic, hairdresser and gynecologist, then life can’t be all that bad! These guys fit the first category. I went to them with a “tire issue” a few weeks back—thinking I had totally blown out the tire (I had!) and it would require some major fixing. (It did).
What amazed me was the suggestion they give me, which was to use my A-1, full sized spare as the replacement tire and replace that with a used (read “cheap”) one that didn’t have to be in the best condition given the fact that it was only to be used for emergencies. Genius! These guys could have taken me to the cleaners, but they let me off for a song! They have my unending business for life!

it's well laid out, fun and colorful and you have to smile just by walking in the door. Of course you receive much more personal service than you do at the big baby chain stores.

I attend many weddings and I can always tell right away when the wedding cake is from Child's, for there is always something distinctive about them--very creative and different. Plus, you can't beat the taste,\.

These confections have a "twist"--in the order of suggestive toppings and sayings. I mean--really--can you say you have lived until you've eaten a booby or a penis cake????

As a guitarist, Michael is second to none and he's great to have during the cocktail hour while guests are meeting and mingling. In addition to being one of his clients, I also work with Michael professionally at many weddings (he plays and I marry folks!) and I am always impressed by his repertoire, professionalism and calm demeanor. If you are going to "do" bagpipes for any occasion, there is nobody else but Michael whom I'd recommend!

These folks gave me a home equity loan last year and they made the application process so simple! I am self-employed, so I usually dread the process of all that documentation, but they asked for the minimum amount possible and had my funds ready within three days. I found all of their staff from the bank manager to the front desk staff very personable and pleasant. PLUS their rate was very competitive!
In addition, I was late on a payment once and they left me the cheeriest voice mail reminder! I love local banking!
