Not the best, great for the old Sunday crowd

The food here is just not that great. Bland, like it was purposely made for old folks who can't eat salt. Call me crazy, but I like to have my food taste like, well, food.
I can understand why this place is packed all the time, because it is frequented by the Social Security set in University Place who keep going to it out of routine, and because it's one of the few breakfast places in the area that they can drive to.
The service is lacking, but that's typical of a breakfast spot. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Gertie's and the Homestead are much better, but further away.
