This theater is the home to Los Angeles' biggest poetry reading. Every Tuesday night you will find an open mike with at least two hundred people in the audience. Shihan hosts one half of the night and the other half is hosted by Poetri. Show starts at 9pm but get there early to make sure that you have a seat. Most nights there is standing room only.

Come down to the Palmer room monday night from 9pm to midnight and witness the poetry reading known as Green. The venue itself used to be held at the Un-urban Cafe, but we've changed locations. This reading boasts turntablist DJ Jedi, who tours with the group digable planets. Ratpack slim as the host, member of 3 National Slam teams, and beatboxer Joshua Silverstein who you may have seen on Norman Lear's declare yourself tour. Last but not least this is the home of the infamous poetry troop known affectinately as Gang Green. Now you know.
