Old Town Jazz right off of Broad

Whenever I need a dose of good improvisational Jazz or a rich chocolate mousse I visit the tucked-away Jazz house on Sansom Street right next to the Union Club. From cocktails to coffee and full dinners to a basket of bread, Chris' has whatever you're looking for. Watch out though! Most nights there's a cover charge to listen to the next Louis Armstrong or a bassist who really knows how to jive. If you really don't want the live jazz, you can always visit before 8 or 9 pm when the music starts. There's also a snooker (pool) room off the back if you're looking for something more informal.
Have fun!
