My husband rented here for a while before we were married, and the number one thing about the Highview apartments in my book is that they are cheap. They are a little under the going rate for apartments in the area. The apartments themselves are pretty nice, nothing special. His particular unit was noisy because it was next to the laundry. Very plain vanilla apartment living.

I think you can do much better at other Havertown area pizza places. Try Cenzo's...they beat Paisano's by a land slide!

I don't know why you would ever go to this Party Land when Party City is just down the road. The same supplies that you can buy at Party Land are available at Party City for much less. This Party Land has rentals for showers etc, but they are quite expensive, balloons are expensive here... you name it, it's expensive here. Head on down to Party City instead.

It's open 24 hours, and that is part of it's draw. If you need a place to go at 10pm at night, you can count on the Llanerch diner to be open. Food is mediocre.. but hey, what do you expect from a greasy spoon!

The Children's Ark at St. George's Church is a really nice, top quality child care center. When I was looking for a day care center, I was really impressed with the children's ark. They have a large, clean play area outside. The days have structure and they have goals for each child. That being said, they are one of the most expensive centers in the area...but you get what you pay for.

They have large cabin style accommodations for kids, a mess hall, a campfire area and a large natural area to explore. I have had a very good experience with this camp!

Rosenberger's Dairy store is a good place to buy milk and eggs etc. But, what really is the draw for us to drive out to their store is if we need dry ice. They are the only supplier in the area where you can but dry ice for Halloween "smoke" or for camping in the summer. Good to know where to get it if you need it!

Did you know that Penn State has an Ice cream major? Sounds good to me! You can taste the fruits of their labors at the Penn State University Creamery. They have lots of unusual flavors, many of them are not so great tasting. The novelty of having ice cream in a Penn State container is really the draw. And, for an extra fee, they will pack your ice cream in a dry ice bag so it will stay cold for you if you have a long drive home.

When we lived in Norristown, China Wok was our regular place for Chinese food. They are good for take out and they also have a small dining area if you wish to eat in. Their food is better than average. I especially liked their hot and sour soup and their egg rolls. My hubby recommends heir boneless spare ribs.

Paradise Pizza is a great place to go for pizza. They remind me of boardwalk style pizza, in that when you go in they have 6 or so different pies for you to choose from that have been recently made, and you can buy a piece by the slice. We have also ordered whole pies from them. They have the very thin crust style pizza, and it is very good. Larger than expected sitting area, so you can eat in or take out.
