I used to shop at Genuardi's all the time when it was an independent chain and I was pleased with the products and the service. Now, over the past few years since Safeway took them over, Genardi's is a big hassle. I have stopped going there all together. I have so many examples of times that they advertised something on sale and then it did not ring up the right price. Instead of taking care of it at the register and letting me get on my way, they make you get out of line, go to customer service and wait and wait. You can never get in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time, and every time I go there is always a hassle about something!

I have been checking out a lot of furniture stores lately, and I think I have decided to go with Sofa Source. Why? Good selection, warranty and service. I liked their sales approach, pretty low key and eager to please. They have a large showroom full of sofas and you can special order each in many different fabric. Sofas seem to run between $500-1500 which is not bad. Lots of nice styles and a good warranty plan. I'll let you know how satisfied I am after the purchase.

The nice thing about Shogun 3 is that it has 3 restaurants in one. There is the hibachi style dining, which I love, where they cook table side and have a little flair with the cooking. They also have a Chinese restaurant and a sushi bar. There food is above average. The prices are a little high, but comparable to other hibachi style places that I have been to. Definitely a fun evening!

I tried rite aid because of their rebate program, and I really hate the stores. They are poorly laid out, the staff is unhelpful and they typically are sold out of at least half of the items that are on sale. One time I went, with two kids to two different stores on a morning that a sale started to get the diapers they had on sale, neither store had them! They weren't evengoing to get them in for a couple days. Then WHY have them on sale and in your sale flyer? Stupid. And they wouldn't substitute...needless to say, I aviod rite aid when possible.

I used to go to Hub tire regularly for all my tire needs and for oil changes. They were quick and reliable. Their office needs some work because it is cluttered and filthy. The guys that work there are very friendly and helpful, and I never feel like I am being taken for a ride.

I saw one in the shape of a 60, a doll's dress cake and a wedding cake. They also have a small selection of cook books and other Amish country books that I found interesting.

Red hot and Blue looked better than it actually was. It was really crowded when we went, the side dishes were very overcooked. Also, they allowed absolutely no substitutions on their menu. The barbecue was the best part of the meal, and I've had much better. I think I'll skip this place on my next trip to town.

Took the family to the "snack factory" tour at Herr's a couple weeks ago and it was really nice. It's FREE - so you can't beat that. The tour takes about an hour. It starts with a silly little movie and then you walk though the plant. You end eating hot chips. The kids and I both thought it was pretty cool. Only open M- Fri, not Fri afternoons, you must call ahead for reservations.

It's a great place to be a little kid! They have so many fun things to do for the small set. They have your regular amusement park fare like rides and water, but they also have some unique things only found at sesame place. Their unique attractions are more interactive and geared young, like a giant "bed bounce." Admission price is high, especially since they charge everyone over 2 the same price (and adults are the same price, even though this is a kids' geared park.) Your kids will definitely have a blast!
