I think some of the reviewers for West Portal Nail & Skin Care might be confusing it with West Portal Spa, which is a different nail salon in West Portal.
West Portal Nail & Skin Care is on Ulloa, and they only charge $25 for a spa mani/pedi with a massage chair, and warm lotion hand and foot massage!! It's a much better deal than the $45 charged by West Portal Spa, and they treat you nicer.

The service is very friendly. The only down side is that they don't deliver, so plan to call ahead to pick up or eat there. It's worth it!

Due to proximity to my home, I decided to try Dr. Nguyen when looking for a new dentist. While I found the receptionist to be very friendly and professional, that's the only positive thing I can say about this office. They are not sensitive to special needs, they do not use the most up-to-date equipment, and the quality of prognosis and work was not what I was used to.

I recently had a complete failure of my laptop's hard drive. I use my computer for work and really needed to have all the files recovered. I sent it to DriveSavers who were able to recover ALL the files. It's not cheap (my service cost $2,400), but it when it's your work it's worth it to have all your files back. Their staff is all very professional and friendly/understanding, which is very appreciated at a very stressful time.

I just hit Fina Estampa for the first time, and everyone in my group really liked it. The menu includes Spanish and Peruvian items, and has good options for vegetarians. Everything we tried was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable -- and they have a full bar.
The space is large, so it would be great for a large group. And the service is very friendly and helpful.
