God, I used to live here. 4 nights a week, 11- close. Alas, my 30 year old self is a little old for this 18 and up, 21 to drink venue on North Ave. They have three levels, heaven, hell, and purgatory. Heaven features live bands, mostly of the metal and hard rock sort, with a little punk thrown in for flavor. Purgatory has djs spinning some nights with some pool tables and places to sit and chill. Heaven has the dance floor. Almost every night is themed.. ex: 80's night on Thurs, fetish night on Sat. Tons of fun. Drinks are decent, the cover charge is usually pretty cheap. A nice break from the seen and be seen type of clubs that pepper the ATL

Kind of a hole in the wall, been around for years. Interesting to note that on this listing they serve food.. I never knew. If it helps to describe it, this is the kind of place that serves wine coolers. Not too much ever seems to happen here and it tends to be a predominently male over 45 type of crowd. Not too much my scene but if that's what you're looking for, here's where to find it.

Healthy healthy healthy. That seems to be much the motto here. Kindof inside, kindof outside, their dining room is one of those tarpy places that really is neither. They are open a lot, maybe 24 hours. They have a largely vegetable menu, with some free range meats thrown in for those who want or need it. They have a fantastic variety of teas, juices, and smoothies. Breakfast foods are served alongside lunch and dinner, so you can really get whatever you're in the mood for. They have some ecletic decorations, including a black lit bathroom guaranteed to fascinate your small children while you wait on your food.

Just to go ahead and get it out of the way, I am not a Buckhead babe. I hate the meat market atmosphere of the whole bar area around here. But Cafe Tu Tu Tange is a definite departure from that. Mostly tapas, it's a nice place to go with friends when you want to share both food and gossip. I've seen everything from mimes to painters in here to add to scenary. Their food is good, drinks are better. A great time to be had for any and all.

Don't ask me why, but I've seemed to wind up here lots. Well, for one thing, they serve liquor later than in Douglasville, where I live. Going to Riley's you should have a certain set of expectations. 1.) Fulton Industrial after dark IS NOT a good section of town. Be aware of your surroundings. 2.) These are Playboy playmates on stage. They are hardworking girls trying to make a living and some of them look like it. 3.) If you are female, the bathroom is one of the scariest I've ever been in.
4.) There is a two drink minimum, cover at the door, no women allowed in without a male escort.
I have had tons of fun at this place, but again I say be safe.. you never know who you will run into in the parking lot.. crackheads run amuck around here.

Formerly the tallest hotel in the world, the Peachtree Plaza is located centrally downtown. Crowning its spire is the somewhat reknowned Sun Dial restaurant. The view is really spectacular, as the restaurant rotates you can see the whole skyline. I have never, however, been impressed with the food. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good, but nothing there has ever really called me to show up for eating. Romantic? Yes. Hungry? Go someplace else.

Arden's Garden both makes fresh juices locally and sells them to local retail outlets. Their variety is nice and everything I've had from there is fabulous. Everything they make is from scratch, real fruit with no added sweeteners. Also they use no preservatives, their beverages are meant for quick consumption. I do love to stop in the Euclid location after some playtime with my daughter at nearby Inman Park.. it's much better than grabbing her a soft drink somewhere.

I love his breakfast. He starts you with fabulous coffee and this wonderful bread that I have no clue what it's called. He loves kids and is always great to my little girl. We always have a pleasant time in here.. the atmosphere is informal, with customers passing the sugar bowl for the coffee to share, yet quiet, with lots reading their morning paper. I've only been once or twice for lunch there and thought it was ok but it didn't wow me the way his breakfast does. My fave breakfast is their french toast, thick and fluffy on homemade bread.

I like Bonz. I really have no clue why, as they have nothing that sets them apart from any other corner bar in the metro area. They have Karaoke 2 nights, Trivia 1 night, Texas Hold 'Em some other nights and I'm not sure what else. Basic bar grub.. sandwiches, burgers, potato skins and such. Good bartenders, decent drinks. I believe that they may have gone back to a smoking establishment if that's important info to you , I know they were on the fence for a while so call if you need to check that out.

Douglasville Books has been around for about maybe 20 years. In that time they have done new books, used books, trades, and everything in between. I never remember a time in my life when they had anything less than a friendly and knowledgeable staff.. even when I was an obnoxious pre-teen clamouring for the latest Sweet Vally High book. I was afraid when the mall came in it would hurt them but they seem to still be thriving.. and well deserved if I may offer my humble opinion.
