Leave it to Disney to create this amazing hotel! The architecture is amazing, evoking the feeling of an authentic Craftsman structure. Every detail from the outdoor lights to the carpet has been meticulously chosen to reflect this. The hotel bar is in a fantastic room with vaulted ceilings, and a wonderful place to unwind with a drink after a long day of playing.

This Build a Bear Workshop, located in Downtown Disney, is where cuteness gets made. Little girls (and big girls who feel like little girls) will coo at the idea of making their own special bear. Although I find the prices to be outrageous, it seems worthwhile for such a special toy that will be cherished.

I forget that sometimes), and the parking is average (which in LA means it stinks!). In all, fun but forgettable.

This little shop is located away from the hub-bub on Vermont, and offers more style (I think) than any of the boutiques lining the main drag. Delicate and beautiful handmade creations line the windows and walls of this little hide-a-way. Although staff are sometimes intimidating, it's worth braving for a look at these unique and amazing clothes.

Although this spot charged slightly more than neighboring cleaners for hemming and alterations, their per-piece charge to clean was slightly lower. The gentleman who helped me and answered questions was friendly, and the store was big and clean. I would recommend it if you live in the area, but nothing special to make a drive for.

This dry cleaners was one I found after an extensive search finding the best price for hemming pants. I'm a short one, so pretty much all my pants go through this process! Hollywood Cleaners was the best price by far, at six dollars a pair to hem uncuffed pants (the other cleaners were asking as much as twelve!). The service was good and I'm pleased with their work.

Both feature apparel (such as hoodies, t-shirts, track shorts) with slogans that pertain to neighborhoods, pop culture, and other icons. The fun of Neighborhoodies is that you can customize a piece of clothing to read whatever speaks to you, and that means the selection is only as limited as your imagination!

With everything from perfume and nailpolish, to soap and lip-plumping gloss, this is a paradise for the femenine. Although I'm not big on a lot of the overpriced products that line their shelves, some of these indulgences are fairly-priced and delish! I particularly like the store brand lotion in Pumpkin, and the combo shampoo/body washes in a variety of scents. A little pick-me-up can always be found there.

Cost Plus has some of everything. There are imports from every corner of the globe! Their kitchen section is particularly impressive, with beautiful tableware from Japan and cooking implements from Thailand. The furniture is exotic and beautiful, and the food section is a great place to stock up for a truly unique pantry.

The Geisha House website touts the restaurant as being all about "sex," and says that it's not the place to go if you're looking for a California Roll. However, I found the sushi to be mediocre at best, and at two to three times what you'd pay for the same quality elsewhere. Ultimately, you're paying for the atmosphere of this dimly lit, gimmicky pit. Of course, I should have expected as much from a Japanese restaurant owned by Ashton Kutcher.
And, incidentally, one of their few rolls IS a California Roll, though they call it a Marilyn. I guess a roll by any other name still tastes as bland.
