This bookstore, upon entry, can be intimidating. With several floors of books and music, it's hard to know where to start. Then again, the secret seems to be going when you DON'T have something particular to buy. The coffeeshop and magazine racks in the lobby invite patrons to sit and read a while, and the people watching outside to the Third Street Promenade is entertaining.
