The Waltham Tavern is a pleasant escape from the pretentious Boston social scene. Here the staff insults everyone that walks through the door, the decor is dire and the drinks are untrendy. Still- it's full of character! They make every regular customer feel welcome- even on holidays. Drink prices are cheap, and it's a very unthreatening scene (aside from the snarky bartenders).
