The Living Room in the North End specializes in seafood and martinis. The dining room is a typical formal setting, but the lounge area is host to the most comfortable seating area in a Boston restaurant (hence the name- Living Room). The big couches are the perfect place to get together with friends for one of this restaurant's great martinis.
The lounge area is also the perfect place to catch the big game due to several great plasma screens that are constantly on. Brunch is served on Sunday, which means this might be the best host of NFL early games in the city.
Unfortunately, the lounge area of the Living Room is far superior to the dining area and service. The entrees served for dinner have little imagination and the servers tend to ignore their customers. They say they can handle large parties- but expect to be ignored.
