I love Jimmy Johns. They make some great sandwiches. I suggest you get a sandwich that you wouldn't normally eat or buy because they make it wonderfully. It is pretty dark inside, and I never stay to eat. I prefer to order and take home. $6 can get you a delight so enjoy, and don't let the loud noises in the area agrrovate you!

One of the best places for deep dish pizza! I particularly go for thin crust because it's perfect here, and it's light. But on the days where it's me and a few friends order the deep dish. The crust is so golden and fluffy. It's easily peels off!
My mom likes the spinach pizza here because of the cheese and the really fresh spinach they use every time.
They have been on Metromix and that is what convinced me to try the pizza here. Hope you will to.
pizza is not expensive and $10 can get you a long way.

They are always packed in the summer and they stay with a classic theme. You will find people 50 to 5 months here for that home made style ice cream that's reasonable priced.

There is free parking, but sometimes you'll be waiting in line for a cone. Ice Cream is very cheap, very good, and well churned. Brings lots of friends and it's great comfort food.

The steaks are delicious and the size of your head! Their potato pancakes are yummy and fresh!
It's very cheap here and I think they are underpriced for the delicious food and quantity you can get here. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly. $20 can get you some good food.

In the summer it's really packed with people having a good time. You can take the redline downtown, just make sure you make it to michigan ave so pick a stop where you know you don't have to walk much. Nice place!

I don't like the fact that this liquor store is so close to the University of Chicago. Kimbark is a pretty good store. They have all types of wines, beer and even some 30% alcoholic drinks but don't count on finding anything exotic, only the popular stuff is here. Because they have more than one branch they also do sponsorship. It's not very big inside and not cramped so you have walking space where you don't have to worry about knocking over any bottles.
Priced cheap!
