A few months ago, I locked myself out of my running car! This place really saved my day. I found them randomly out of the yellow pages, but they arrived within twenty minutes and within minutes, they had my car open. No damages to my car either. The person that came was grea, he really knew what he was doing. They were certianly a life saver. It did cost me a good chunk of money, but I guess that's what I get for my mistake. At least I got great service for my money.

This is a great place to get pastries and cakes. My favorite items here are the mini pastries, they are so delicious and really look great on a decorative dessert table. The mini pastries are an especially good idea for fancy receptions; they add a very pretty and sophisticated touch. They also have a little seating area inside, where you can enjoy the sweets and some coffee or tea. Everything here is always fresh and very sweet and super delicious!

The Market Place is a decent option for groceries, even more so now since Dominick's isn't around (it got burned down). It is generally more higher priced than Jewel or the late Domicks, but the weekly sales are usually great and there are always some good money saving options. Another thing I like about this place is its never super crowded and no long lines. They also have their own little parking lot in the back, so you don't have to worry about finding parking.

I had a salad here once (the ginger chicken salad) and it wasn't too great -- I would stick to the teriyake bowls! The food here is fresh and tasty and the service is really quick. Its a great, quick stop with a very casual setting. You order, pick up your food, and you seat yourself. And make sure to try the crab rolls as an appetizer; they are pretty tasty

I went for high tea here a while back with a bunch of friends. It is definitely an experience to have at some point (especially if you are visiting Chicago). You get to choose from a bunch of different teas, finger sandwhiches, scones, and pastries. At about $35 per person, its quite expensive for a simple afternoon tea, but the entire experience is really amazing. The atmosphere, service, and ambiance are really amazing and it makes for a very relaxing, yet elegant occassion. And of course the beautiful harp adds a very elegant touch to the nice afternoon. They do not take reservations.

If you are coming to Chicago and need a place tho stay that is close to the city and lots of cool places, then this is a nice location to stay at. It is close to everything -- plenty of restaurants, shopping places, the lake, the city, and Wrigley field! Its i a small place with pretty good management. However, It is not cheap and that is not so much because of the excellent amenities it offers, but for the excellent location it is in.

This is a huge do-it-yourself store that is great for young children. First you get to pick out a ceramic figure and then you get to paint it and design it in any way you want. There are a lot of things you can do - paint it, dress it, or decorate it. I think it is a great activity for kids and a really unique option for a birthday party or a holiday party. This store is huge and they have plenty of space to accomodate a big party. I think its a good idea for a field trip sort of thing too.

I got mugs printed for them here with their grandchildren's pictures in them. They loved the idea! These people also do t-shirts, key chains, and much more. They make for wonderful gifts and they are not too expensive either. The people working here are friendly and will show you a variety of drafts before they make the final product. It makes for a very memorable gift anytime!

And the ornaments they have there make really thoughtful and unique gifts. People usually love those and actually use them. They make a good gift for anybody!

It is a great stop, especially for all the BYOB restaurants in the area! They also carry snacks here, but I would really recommend staying away from buying those. I bought a candy bar from here once and, boy, was it stale. That was not cool at all!
