When I moved to West Seattle not long ago I needed to find a new vet for my cats. Napoleon is an older cat and had been diagnosed with skin cancer between his toes. I hadn't dealt with it because the way the previous vet had explained it to me I thought the cat would not recover from the surgery and was told he might even have to have his whole leg removed. We met with Dr. Quincy at West Seattle Animal Hospital and she gave me a much better explanation of the condition and did extensive testing to be sure surgery was necessary. It was. Napoleon had two toes removed and I couldn't believe how quickly he recovered. Great bedside manner and a helpful staff have made me very happy with my new vet.

They may not have every book on the planet in stock, but the friendly helpful staff will cheerfully order books for you and call you when they arrive, usually within just a couple of days. The book reviews are written personally by the well-read staff and the tables always display an interesting array of new books. I hear they have an amazing guy that reads to the children and you can't beat the location with an outdoor patio in back and tasty Diablo Coffee next door.

My brother gave me a great Christmas gift: an "Ultimate Beautifying Facial" at Carlin Salon. I saved it until last night when I really needed some relaxation. I was greeted with tea and a foot soak while I filled out my intake form. This is an Aveda Salon so my aesthetician, Christina, then asked me to choose which essential oils to use in the treatment. The facial was thorough, relaxing and best of all came with an absolutely transporting head, neck and shoulder massage. And today my skin is glowing. Thank you big bro!

I'm a realtor and after a client raved about this company I hired them when I had to move. This is my third time using a moving company and it was the only good experience I've had. On time, on budget, careful, helpful. They pointed out furniture that didn't have felt pads, then offered to put the pads on the feet so my wood floor wouldn't get scratched. Amazing. And you can even borrow boxes from them for the move!

Nancy of Playing With Pets is an animal enthusiast, clearly. She knows me by my cats' names, not mine, and she has a whole bag of toys to entertain critters with. The first time I called her she came and met with me and met the cats, had me fill out paperwork and got the tour of my home. When I left town before, the cats would be a bit freaked out when I returned and would be all over me for a couple of days after. Now, when I return from out of town, my cats are mellow and don't need any special reassurance. Just imagine what Nancy can do with your dogs!
