The food is homey and delicious, if not a bit pricey. The butterscotch pudding is particularly tasty as is their mac and cheese but it's all about the burgers and hot dogs in my book. So head over to Westville and dig in, you won't be disappointed.

The sign to Boxers has caught my eye many a time but I only recently decided to check this place out for myself. Sadly, some rude service ruined what would have been an otherwise good meal. The food itself was pretty good , though the apple brown betty I had for dessert far surpassed the burger and fries I had for lunch. Still, I'd likely give Boxers a second chance for it's far too cute of a place to hold one lackluster experience against.

Found the greatest old Rolling Stones top but you think it'd look better as a bag, pillow or perhaps an iPod case? Well, if this is the case and you're sewing skills aren't quite up to par than you may want to check Cronick Valentine out. The store is a bit pricey but it might be just up your alley.

If you like vintage clothing, you've no doubt scoured many a thrift or vintage store in NYC. However, Sweet Tater is a step above the rest. Though all the usual items are there, they're all in impeccable shape. If you didn't know better, you'd think the dresses, shirts and pants you're gazing upon are fresh from a warehouse somewhere.
What's also nice about Sweet Tater is it's service. Whenever I've gone in one of the store's two owners has always been there -- and has always been more than friendly and helpful.
So, if you like vintage clothing and are ever in NYC, check out Sweet Tater. You won't be disappointed.

Cheap food at any hour of the day, that's Khondoker Luncheonette's charm. It's another one of those great places in the city to grab a meal if you've happened to stay up way past the hour of midnight. It's not necessarily the most remarkable place from the outside but if you only have $5 or so in your pocket from a long night out you'll be sure to find something to eat on the menu. After all, a burger costs less than $3 here.
