This is a very busy place that is well stocked, and accepts most insurance. They have frames for both adults and kids, and in all price ranges. You wait your turn, and once you get one, you are not rushed. You have all the time you need to pick out the most flattering pair of eyeglass frames for your face, and the staff offers helpful suggestions. They also offer contact lenses. My only complaint is that they don't have enough chairs in the waiting area, so sometimes there isn't places for everybody to sit and the kids end up running around bored.

She has been around since the seventies, and her clients have included heavy corporate hitters as well as a neighborhood birthday party. She makes cakes of all sorts of characters, many of them have been preserved in a book that clients can flip through for ideas. The cost depends on the type of cake, amount of people that need to be fed, and the design. She also has donated cakes on a pro bono basis for deserving non-profits, like the local library. She's really an artist working in the medium of pastry design!!

Right now, it's all about Valentine's Day, with the sexy lingerie and gag gifts. Then it's green for St' Paddy's and then the Easter Bunny Suits are in. If you are an entertainer, kids performer, or throwing a party this place is a must visit. They have wigs and hats of every kind, party favors, costumes, gifts and who knows what else. It's always changing.

They have special nights that are Taste of Thailand nights, with a pre-fixed menu and traditional Thai dancing so you really get a flavor for the cuisine. There is also a traditional menu too, for those who are familiar with this food. I love the coconut milk, served right out of a fresh coconut shell! You can also get coconut rice with your meal, yum!

This means a great selection and variety for browsing! There is every type of collectible imaginable, and careful because they do take credit cards. An entire room is fully stocked with collector guides you can either buy or browse through to check the value of your recent score. It's a fun place to spend a weekend afternoon, even if just for eye candy.

They offer yoga and other body work classes, and some events are free like the noon group meditation. It's a clean and zen space with polished floors, and a small store on site sells yoga mats and products.

The store itself is well stocked and features a large fountain area where people can cast wishes, intentions, and prayer requests that the staff attends to on a regular basis. They sell lots of gift items, books, and metaphysical items. It's a large store, so spend at least a half hour for the first visit.

My friend went to this school as a kid and speaks highly of it. I walk by it every day. They are located in a building right behind the church, and their recess is held in the beauty of the church yard where they can run and play to heart's content. They have their own basketball court that is totally fenced in, and there is also a day care center for the younger kids. The kids here all wear uniforms, which can be a blessing the way some pre-teens dress these days.

Just when I think I finally have this place figured out, they go and change ownership again, and the entire menu. Last I looked, it was still Japanese, a combination noodle and tofu house with some terriyaki and sushi on the menu. I don't know what it is about this place though, it seems to change ownership more than is normal, and yet the name stays the same. You can tell right away that things have changed every time though. Feel free to comment if you have been there recently.

My friend met his wife here, and I have met a few locals myself. Good people come here to have a bite to eat and a beer, maybe see live music on a Tuesday or Thursday night when they come. They have a great game of darts, and a macho menu that features a hot habanero hamburger, yikes! The beer battered fish and chips are not bad, but the happy hour is better. An interesting place.
