they get the most of the furniture donations that come
in. As a manager, I had to send them our extra furniture because there just wasn't enough room at
the New Baltimore location. You would not believe
how many beautiful antiques come through the doors
either. I think some people just want to close estates
when a loved one passes and than go on with their
lives.

Stores was having to drive into downtown Detroit once a month for our
Manager meetings. The area that it was located at gave me the creeps. Our
main boss who was overseer to all the stores in this zone would meet with
us each month. They call him a Major (salvation army lingo). Interesting enough at this particular location they also housed some fellows which were
living in for their rehabilitation program. The salvation army does a lot for a lot
of people and I don't think the public fully understands their efforts.

of 21 Mile and Gratiot is glorius and filled with every cycle you can ever imagine. They have a beautiful building and already flocks of people roam the
store.

Freedom Hill also has a wednesday flea market during the day with tons of
booths. You better believe I jump at every chance I can get to go down

how to prepare resumes, what to say at an interview, how to dress ext. ext.
They give you ample time to really get a job and will help you out as long as
they know you are trying.

This is badly needed in this area as there really is not an emergency room or
hospital close by. I am quite impressed with its offices already. I had to
go and see the podiatrist here and downstairs they have their own physical
therapy clinic. There is just about every kind of doctor in this building. My
cousin found a new therapist there. It's just so great having a service like this
here. Beautiful building.

survive. He told me that he would go to the metal factories and ask them if
he could remove the scrap for them. They didn't pay him but he was bringing
stuff in to the recycling place and getting paid by them each time. A friendly
reminder that when the going gets tough...the tough get going!

too many lives be destroyed because of them. I lost a couple cousins and left
my ex because of the hell they bring. I just heard that over 100 individuals died taking this lethal combination of heroin; cocaine &a strong pain killer together. Everyday it's been on the news that more are dying!! Is it possible
that the people don't even know what they are buying and using? When I
worked in the Rehab I heard true stories of women that gave up their kids
to do drugs...I was sooo disgusted. Lord, forgive me,
but when is enough, enough?
